1) Who can be members of Sponsors of Student Publications?


1)Any teaacher or adviser of a school publication from a middle or secondary school in the Greater St. Louis area and the outlying areas around St. Louis, whether in a public or private school, is eligible for membership.
2) How much does it cost to be a member?


2) Membership fees are $20 per year for each adviser even if he/she advises more than one publication. If each publication has a different adviser, each of them need to join separately.
3) Who is eligible for student scholarships?
3) In order for students to be eligible for summer workshop scholarships, their advisers must be active members of SSP. This is an adviser-run organiztion that relies on members to accomplish its goals. Active members pay their fees, attend at least some of the meetings and work at the local conference.
4) Who is eligible for adviser scholarships?


4) Active membership is a requirement for adviser summer scholarships. In addition, advisers who have not received a scholarship in the past two years will have preference.
