| 1) Who can be members of Sponsors of Student Publications?

1)Any teaacher or adviser of a school publication from a middle or secondary school in the Greater St. Louis area and the outlying areas around St. Louis, whether in a public or private school, is eligible for membership. |
| 2) How much does it cost to be a member?
|

2) Membership fees are $20 per year for each adviser even if he/she advises more than one publication. If each publication has a different adviser, each of them need to join separately. |
| 3) Who is eligible for student scholarships? |
|
3) In order for students to be eligible for summer workshop scholarships, their advisers must be active members of SSP. This is an adviser-run organiztion that relies on members to accomplish its goals. Active members pay their fees, attend at least some of the meetings and work at the local conference. |
| 4) Who is eligible for adviser scholarships?

4) Active membership is a requirement for adviser summer scholarships. In addition, advisers who have not received a scholarship in the past two years will have preference. |
